Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
Religion was made by a highly literate people centuries ago to make man at that time to understand the value of love and fear at the same time, It brought many people together and has done many great things. Consider this: Religion is a law that was present when there were no governing body to control the people from doing wrong, a faith full of fear. Call it Allah,Jesus,Bramha they never existed it was all once upon a time in fairy land when general people lacked knowledge. But things have changed, we all are advancing very fast and lets not start hating each other and live peacefully, as you know you got born by your parents sexual intercourse not by eating an apple!
Zayn Malik has confirmed he no longer identifies as Muslim in a new interview.
Speaking to British Vogue, the former One Direction singer, 25, said he is not a practicing Muslim anymore and no longer believes in ‘any’ of the religion.
He told the publication: ‘I’m not professed to be a Muslim’ and when asked if he would consider himself to be Muslim, he responded: ‘No, I wouldn’t.’
The singer added although he had a ‘spiritual belief’ of a god, that he did not endorse Islam religious practices such as daily prayer and eating halal meat.
It has sparked a backlash on social media from fans who have said they are ‘ashamed’ of the star and criticised him for ‘mocking’ the religion.
RIGHT LETS JUST SUM UP RELIGION AND ‘GOD’….. IF THERE IS SUCH A THING AS GOD, THEN IT’S OBVIOUSLY NOT A VERY GOOD THING AS THIS WORLD IS PRETTY DISGUSTING IN MANY WAYS ! IT IS AN AMAZING PRIVILEGE TO BE GIVEN THE GIFT OF LIFE ON THIS EARTH, BUT ONLY FOR A PERCENTAGE….. THERE IS POVERTY, DISEASE, WARS, ANGER, HATRED, INFIDELITY, DEPRESSION ETC ETC. SO IF THERE IS A ‘GOD’ OR THERE ARE MULTIPLE ‘GODS’, THEN YOU CAN KEEP THEM, ‘COS THEY’RE NOT DOING A VERY GOOD JOB, ARE THEY ?!
The belief that there was nothing and nothing happened to nothing. Then, nothing exploded for no reason, creating everything. Then everything rearranged itself, by itself, using chemical laws that were self-made, with no intelligence and for absolutely no purpose. Then, accidentally, this non-living everything produced living things which evolved into higher living things until we got mankind. All of this, of course, has no purpose and is going nowhere. Which gives us great joy as people, who believe nothing is leading us nowhere and for no purpose. This all makes sense.
It deeply saddens me in the 21st century to see perfectly good people – beautiful, generous, virtuous, altruistic people – giving god credit for their attributes and accomplishments. I respect humans too much to insult them in this way. What insidious, vile, mind-poisoning spew religion is.
Religion is the product of arrogance and ignorance.
The idea that everything evolves around us.
And that the entire universe was created exclusively for us.
While in truth, the universe wouldn’t even notice if the entire Earth was instantly destroyed.
If God is omniscient, then why would he allow innocent people to die from diseases?
Truth is, if God really exists, he also created the bacteria which kills people.
If, hypothetically, bacteria were conscious, they could think everything evolves around them and humans are the virus.
They would not understand why their “God” created humans.
So obviously we’re missing the big picture.
We may never fully understand the purpose of life within the universe.
But assuming a creator made it all for us is plain arrogant.
Personally, I don’t think a single person on Earth has the intellectual capacity to understand the real truth behind the universe.
Just like a worm trying to understand the complexity of three dimensions without the sense of eye-sight.
We can’t understand how consciousness is created and what happens to it when we die.
And people fear what they can’t understand. We need answers if only to make us sleep better at night.
Any religion arising from this was inevitable.
